Bahamas Residence
The objective of the architectural commission was to design an 8,000 square feet multi-generational home on the waterfront in Nassau, Bahamas. The Client’s architectural guideline for the home design was one that stimulates and delights with its unique ideas, exotic details, classic emphasis, and harmonizes indoor and outdoor living spaces. Creating an innovative home of timeless aesthetic that establishes an intimate relationship with the site.
Architects Carlos Rajlin and Victor Zamparelli created a truly modern tropical structure, combining natural and recycled materials in a contemporary form with traditional environmental considerations. Clerestory windows providing internal natural lighting, large roof overhangs and rain water harvesting are just a few of the LEED considerations incorporated to obtain certification.
